🔥 About George Vasilopoulos
George Vasilopoulos was born in Athens. He is a graduate of the National School of Dance (KSOT) and the Athens Medical School. He has danced for the Hellenic Dance Company in various productions and in collaboration with invited choreographers of the company, such as Antonis Foniadakis (Facades), Jasmin Vardimon (Tomorrow) and others.
In January 2018 he participatedin the performance “La Création du Monde” in collaboration with the Fluxum Foundation and the Athens State Orchestra at the Athens Music Hall. In February 2020 he had been a part of the dance company Dancers of North presenting “Romeo and Juliet” in Thesaloniki Dance Hall.
In July 2019 he has presented his first professional choreographic work in Zante Dance Festival ( Zante,Greece) with the title “ I + I + I = I \ / “ in collaboration with the conductor Kornilios Selamsis.
He has been teaching contemporary dance and contact improvisation since 2017.»

💥 Σχετικά με τον Γιώργο Βασιλόπουλο
Ο Γιώργος Βασιλόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Είναι απόφοιτος της Εθνικής Σχολής Χορού (ΚΣΟΤ) και της Ιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών. Έχει χορέψει για την Ελληνική Εταιρεία Χορού σε διάφορες παραγωγές και σε συνεργασία με προσκεκλημένους χορογράφους της παρέας, όπως ο Αντώνης Φωνιαδάκης (Προσόψεις), η Γιασμίν Βαρδήμων (Αύριο) κ.α.
Τον Ιανουάριο του 2018 συμμετείχε στην παράσταση «La Création du Monde» σε συνεργασία με το Ίδρυμα Fluxum και την Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών. Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2020 συμμετείχε στη χορευτική ομάδα Dancers of North παρουσιάζοντας το «Romeo and Juliet» στην αίθουσα χορού Θεσσαλονίκης.

OSHO No-Mind Meditative Therapy with Mridu & Devi

OSHO No Mind is a meditative therapy process lasting for 2 hours a day for 7 days. For the first hour, we use gibberish to empty the mind of all garbage, allowing -in second hour- a great silence to arise from within.

Osho first introduced the No-Mind meditation as part of his evening discourses on Zen. Later on, it became a group process. Here is an excerpt from the talk where Osho first introduced the meditation:

“The first part is gibberish. The word ‘gibberish’ comes from a Sufi mystic, Jabbar. Jabbar never spoke any language, he just uttered nonsense. Still he had thousands of disciples because what he was saying was, “Your mind is nothing but gibberish. Put it aside and you will have a taste of your own being.”

To use gibberish, don’t say things which are meaningful, don’t use the language that you know. Use Chinese, if you don’t know Chinese. Use Japanese if you don’t know Japanese. Don’t use German if you know German. For the first time have a freedom – the same as all the birds have. Simply allow whatever comes to your mind without bothering about its rationality, reasonability, meaning, significance – just the way the birds are doing. For the first part, leave language and mind aside.

Out of this will arise the second part, a great silence in which you have to close your eyes and freeze your body, all its movements, gather your energy within yourself. Remain here and now.

For the very first time the CONSCIOUS DANCE FESTIVAL will be presented as a special retreat edition over five magical days. And to ensure maximum relaxation it will be held at the serene OSHO Afroz Meditation Centre on the beautiful Greek island of Lesvos!

Ecstatic Radiance will be joining CDF festival with Mridu sharing Ecstatic dance along with other facilitators from all around the world.

As a five-days retreat format we will have more space to dive deeper into exploring the uplifting world of conscious dance approaches. Our team of internationally renowned facilitators will provide a diverse program of juicy styles for you to enjoy.

CONSCIOUS DANCE FESTIVAL (Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon and London) was born from the desire to use movement to reach into the very centre of our being. At Ecstatic Dance, we join to create a safe and sacred space for dancing. The absence of talking on the dance floor allows us to move out of our heads and into our bodies, hearts and souls. We leave behind both the words and worries of the day and connect with our spirits and one another through new avenues. It has been created to serve as a safe container, whether we’re dancing alone, or with others.

Basic Guidelines

We are dancing barefoot.
There is no talking on the dance floor.
This is a drug-free, smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.
No cellphones, photos & or videos to keep us present in the dance. ( keep cellphones in the side for these 2 hours and enjoy )
Remember, we’re dancing to feel good, not to look good.
No judgement. We are all on our own personal journeys. Move your body however you wish.
Have awareness of the space around you and respect the boundaries of others.
You can dance alone, or with as many partners as you’d like. (If you’d rather not dance with someone, thank them for the offer by placing your hands in prayer position at your heart – Namaste.)
